We are able to prepare a hot, nutritious breakfast every weekday morning because of generous donations from individuals like you. Miriam's Kitchen is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization, and your donations are tax-deductible.
Donating by Mail
Donations may be made directly to Miriam's Kitchen by mailing checks of any dollar amount to 2401 Virginia Avenue NW, Washington, DC 20037. Donations can also be made to Miriam's Kitchen through the Combined Federal Campaign and United Way. Our pledge number is 8130.

The Breakfast Club is a safe and easy way for you to give to Miriam's Kitchen all year long! The Breakfast Club is our monthly giving program that allows supporters like you to become monthly sustainers of Miriam's Kitchen by providing a reliable and consistent source of income so that we can continue to help those in need in our community.
It's very easy. Please download the sign-up form by clicking here, fill it out (make sure to sign it) and mail it in. This short application allows you to use your check or credit card to provide monthly support for Miriam's Kitchen.. We will send you an annual report detailing your contributions, and you will be listed in our newsletters as a Breakfast Club member.
Please make room at your table by joining the Breakfast Club at any level. Your partnership will ensure a hot, nutritious breakfast and social services for those in need all year long.

Due to lack of storage space, Miriam’s requests that donations of clothing be limited to men's ADULT clothes that are weather appropriate. We accept donations Monday through Thursday from 6:00 a.m. until 3:30 p.m.
The clothing items we can accept are:
- Men's short-sleeve T-shirts and polo shirts
- Men’s long-sleeve T-shirts, thermal shirts, and button-up shirts
- Men’s sweaters and sweatshirts
- Men’s socks and underwear
- Men’s jeans and heavy pants (all sizes)
- Men’s coats
- Men’s boots and athletic shoes – sizes 7 through 13 preferred
- Blankets and sleeping bags
- Hats, gloves, scarves
Toiletry items that are needed:
- Razors
- Sticks of deodorant
- Bottles of travel-sized lotion
- Toothbrushes and small tubes of toothpaste
- Bottles of travel-sized shampoo (no conditioner)
- Washcloths
- Tubes of chapstick
- Back packs, gym bags, or tote bags
- Nail clippers
- Soap (travel-sized preferred)
- Small packets of Kleenex
- Combs
- Boxes of band aids
- Large bottles of Vitamin C, multivitamins, Ibuprofen, Aspirin
- Boxes of Zantac
- Safeway/Giant plastic shopping bags
