Chief Operating Officer Jessica Presher has spent ten years in operations working in for-profit and nonprofit organizations ranging from three-person startups to 1,000+ national organizations. During her time at Miriam’s, she has laid the operational infrastructure to support the organization’s growth from 30 to 90 staff. Her favorite thing about Operations is finding ways to make processes more efficient to ensure our staff spends their time doing what they do best and not being bogged down by administrative work. Jessica holds a BS in Biology from Wofford College and is a certified nonprofit accounting professional, a Society for Human Resource Management Senior Certified Professional, as well as a graduate of the Princeton AlumniCorps Emerging Leaders Fellowship. As a former marathon runner and avid hiker, you will most likely find her outside on the weekends with her husband and black lab. An extrovert at heart she is most happy practicing her Southern hospitality and has retirement plans of opening a bed and breakfast.
