I was born in Kabul, Afghanistan, and raised in lovely Toronto Canada. Moved to Virginia originally for school, but soon became home. I have a pretty cool kid who acts more grown than his papa. Got my undergrad in criminology but soon fell in love with the world of social services while working as an outreach worker in Arlington. Soon after finishing grad school, I was fortunate enough to land a position at the best nonprofit in the city!
Where I’m from, and the fortunate life circumstances are what give me the drive and passion to work in the social service world. I have nothing but gratitude for the work I do, and the team I work for the past 7 years!
