At Miriam’s Kitchen, we rely on over 2,200 volunteers so that we can provide our full range of services.

We're so glad you're interested in volunteering at Miriam's Kitchen and ending chronic homelessness in DC!  All volunteers need to commit to at least one shift per month on an ongoing basis. By attending our orientation, you acknowledge and agree to this commitment. Please note that you will not be able to begin volunteering without having attended an orientation first.

All of our shifts for the holiday season are reserved for our current volunteer base. We are not taking new volunteers for these shifts at this time. Please contact us in January about volunteer opportunities.

Please sign up for an orientation session here.

Here is some helpful information on volunteering at Miriam's Kitchen - general guidelines and FAQ's
