You're Invited: Stories From The Kitchen
Have you always wanted to know more about the guests you serve during your volunteer shift or support through generous donations?
Please join us at Theater J on Tuesday, June 26th at 7:30 pm for Stories from the Kitchen: Monologues Written by the Guests of Miriam's Kitchen.
The monologues will be read on stage by Theater J actors, including Rick Foucheux and David Emerson Toney. The performance is open to the public and free of charge.
Throughout the month of June, staff from Theater J has been leading monologue-writing workshops for our guests and helping them tell their life stories through performance art.
The workshops have been especially cathartic for our guests: "I move real fast and leave everything behind, so unless we're talking like this I would never bring it up."
Please consider joining us on Tuesday as we celebrate our guests' work!
