Miriam’s Kitchen is hosting our first-ever Mayoral Candidate Forum focused on ending chronic homelessness, and we hope to see you there! Join Miriam’s Kitchen online on April 5 as we’ll hear from candidates – as well as MK guests – about proposed strategies to address the homelessness crisis in DC.
Current participants include DC Mayoral candidates James Butler, Andre Davis, and Robert White.
We’re also excited to share that this event will be moderated by nationally-renowned speaker and advocate for housing justice, Dana White! Dana’s background in community-based work includes managing drop-in center programs for LGBTQ+ and unhoused youth in DC, collaborations with numerous housing justice systems, and serving as an orator in academic and community spaces.
