Mark your calendars! Registration is now open for the Second Annual Run 4 MK, a 5K/10K/Fun Run in support of Miriam’s Kitchen. After an amazing first year of the Run 4 MK last year, we’re excited to come together once again to raise awareness and funds to end chronic homelessness!
Run 4 MK 2023
Saturday, November 11, 2023
7:45-10:00 a.m.
Fletcher’s Cove (along the C&O Canal)
You’re invited to join us on Saturday, November 11, (Veterans Day!) for a race along the scenic C&O Canal in Georgetown. If running isn’t your thing, no problem! We’re encouraging everyone in the MK community to get involved however they can. Whether you run, walk, or cheer from afar, your participation in this race brings community together. All proceeds go to support Miriam’s Kitchen in our mission to end of chronic homelessness in DC.
Interested in supporting us for the Run 4 MK? It’s as easy as 1,2, 3!
Step 1: Register to run or walk
Step 2: Set up your Fundraising Page
Step 3: Share your page with friends and family to help raise funds for Miriam’s Kitchen to help end chronic homelessness!
And we have more exciting news! Thanks to a generous match from Boeing, your fundraising efforts will be matched 100 percent, dollar for dollar, doubling your impact in the fight against chronic homelessness. As an organization dedicated to ending chronic and veteran homelessness, we’re proud to host this event on Veterans Day and at the start of Hunger & Homelessness Awareness Week. By participating in the #Run4MK, you’ll help ensure our nation’s capital can become one of the 60+ communities in America that have ended veteran homelessness.
Please visit our event website for more information on signing up or creating a fundraising page. However you get involved with this year’s Run 4 MK, we’re thankful for your support as we work toward our shared mission of ending chronic homelessness. We can’t wait to see you in November!
