Registration is open for the Miriam’s Kitchen 2023 Gala and we want to see you there! Our annual gala is a chance for the MK Community to come together and celebrate all that we’ve achieved, and this year is particularly special. We’re celebrating 40 years of Miriam’s Kitchen – four decades of supporting our neighbors and making transformational growth in our mission to end chronic homelessness in Washington, D.C.
You’re invited to join us at the historic Howard Theatre for an evening of connection and community. The night’s events include:
- Inspirational speakers (including our Change Honoree, anti-homelessness advocate Sheila White)
- Unique and irresistible auction items
- Attendee reception with cocktails and heavy hors d’oeuvres
- Live music from the amazing Round Midnight Band
We’re so excited to celebrate 40 years of Miriam’s Kitchen, and that starts with a special opportunity to support MK leading up to the big night. Our board of directors has generously come together to raise more than $120,000 for a matching campaign in honor of the 2023 Gala! Even if you can’t attend the gala that night, you can make your donation go twice as far and help us meet the match for a meaningful night in support of Miriam’s Kitchen!
We are extremely grateful for our amazing Miriam’s Kitchen community and are so proud of the connections we’ve forged since our founding in 1983.
