Bob Glennon provides a variety of direct services to homeless individuals, and he also works to continuously improve effective program performance, collaborate with other providers and policymakers to meet the needs of individuals experiencing homelessness in the District. Bob has been promoted from Director of Social Services to Clinical Director and has direct responsibility for the Social Services and Outreach teams, supervising the Director of Outreach, Senior Case Managers, and Security Officers. Bob has been a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) in DC since 2001 and has over 20 years of direct experience working with people experiencing homelessness in the District of Columbia. He holds a Master of Social Work from Columbia University and a BA from James Madison University. Before coming to Miriam’s Kitchen in 2013, Bob was the Homeless Services Coordinator at the DC Department of Mental Health (now Department of Behavioral Health). Before that, Bob worked at So Others Might Eat (SOME) for 12 years, and his last position was Clinical Director at the Jordan House Crisis Bed Stabilization Program.
