Jennifer Nunez first joined the MK family in April 2019 with the Permanent Supportive Housing team. She took a short break to complete her Master’s in Social Work from The Catholic University of America and to obtain her MSW licensure for DC. Prior to being at Miriam’s Kitchen, Jennifer served her country after completing four years of military service with the United States Navy. Jennifer has worked with children in the foster care system, immune-compromised individuals, adults with mental disabilities, and within the correctional system in NYC. Jennifer enjoys working with individuals from all walks of life and being a helping hand to those in need, which aligns with Miriam’s Kitchen’s goals. During off-time, Jennifer enjoys spending time with her family, and friends, traveling, and just exploring the DMV.
